Unique quality – national and international

  • Quality management – as a dynamic process rather than a set of static routines – represents a cornerstone in Sopro Bauchemie GmbH‘s corporate philosophy. Our QM strategy is not exclusively geared to individual sites or temporally limited procedures, but aims at delivering uniform quality standards throughout the company network. Today and in the future.

Targeting the whole framework of processes and routines, this integral approach requires the active involvement of the entire workforce. Apart from the regular optimization of company procedures, it calls for the continuous monitoring and review of corporate policy and action. The „from problem-faced to problem-solved” PDCA cycle at the heart of our QM systems clearly underlines our dynamic approach.

Sopro Bauchemie GmbH has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1994. The matrix certification obtained for QM in 2006 also embraced subsidiaries Sopro Bauchemie GmbH Austria and Sopro Polska Sp. Z o. o. With the future integration of further companies in this quality matrix high on the agenda, we shall continue to provide you, our clients, with a consistently high product and service quality.

AEO - Authorised Economic Operator

Sopro Bauchemie GmbH has been granted the status of “Authorised Economic Operator” (AEO), which certifies its credentials as a reliable partner in the international supply chain, from manufacturer to end user. In Germany, AEO status is granted, upon application, by the competent main customs office (“Hauptzollamt”) and has unlimited validity in all member states. The award of AEO status is subject to a thorough, wide-ranging system of check in respect of reliability, solvency, compliance with legal regulations, and fulfilment of predefined security and safety standards.

Companies with AEO status are deemed particularly reliable and trustworthy. Sopro Bauchemie has been awarded the most extensive accreditation – the “Authorised Economic Operator Full” (AEOF) certificate for “Customs Simplification/Security & Safety”.

In 2014, Sopro additionally obtained energy management certification to DIN EN ISO 50 001, thereby sealing its commitment to efficient and sustainable energy use. Our aim is to achieve a continuous optimization of energy consumption.

A business approach that makes both economic and ecological sense.

As the Ökoprofit ecological certification scheme impressively demonstrates, business success is not inherently at odds with environmental efficiency. Reaping financial benefits from concrete ecological schemes – that is the philosophy behind the integrated environmental technology programme embraced by Sopro Bauchemie GmbH.

Sopro‘s participation in the Ökoprofit project entailed the development and implementation of 83 separate measures targeting a wide variety of areas. All of these were designed to considerably lower energy, water and fuel consumption, while reducing the volume of waste produced.

The unmitigated success of the project and associated measures has encouraged Sopro to continue and expand its engagement in this area in future.

Clients can rest assured that Sopro‘s innovative products and perfectly co-ordinated product systems will always remain at the cutting edge of technology while continuing to meet the most stringent requirements.

This is guaranteed by a rigorous regime of quality checks and in-house controls and confirmed by external test certificates issued by recognized institutes such as the SFV e. V. institute for wall/floor coverings in Großburgwedel or the Technische Universität München. These certificates, for instance, attest conformity with the „C“ and „S“ ratings specified in the European thin-bed adhesive standards, with the Flexmortar quality label for flexible tile adhesives and with the „CG“ classes defined in the European tile grout standard.

They all serve to underline both the impeccable standard of our products and their exceptional ease of application.

Sopro’s No.1 flexible tile adhesive, for example, boasts a string of test certificates issued by a variety of external institutes:
